Online learning Resources
Over the last year, I have found several online resources for tutorials on making blocks and machine quilting. So I thought I would like to share some of them with you.
FaveQuilts - free quilting resources that has thousands quilting patterns, quilted gift ideas and quilting tutorials. You can follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and email newsletters.
QNNtv - is quilting television on your computer. This is a online subscription services for $24.99 a year or Monthly at $2.99 that allows you to watch various online TV programs, such as Quilty with Mary Fons, Fons & Porters Love of Quilting, and Quilt It!The Longarm Quilting Show just to name a few shows.
Missouri Star Quilting Company Tutorials- is a great source of quilting tutorials, on how to use layer cakes in various patterns, how to sew on bindings, and how to use various quilting tools and much more.
Craftsy - lets you learn through an online classroom atmosphere. You will get a material listing, you can make video notes, ask questions, show off your projects, and much more. This is a fee based service. You can watch for sales on classes through your email and Facebook, you can get class as low as $19.99. I learned most of my machine quilting through the Machine Quilting: Free -Motion & More class.
